Edith González Flores, LCSW
Edith has supported people managing: Complex Trauma, Grief, Anxiety, and Depression. She has been working in the mental health community for over 15 years. As a social justice advocate, she uses an intersectional framework in her care model.
She has a Masters of Social Work focused in Clinical Practice from Hunter College and an Undergraduate degree from New York University.
Edith is a first-gen Mexican-American. She enjoys long jogs on Saturday mornings, dancing, and meditating.

Cualnemi is the Nahuatl (indigenous Mexican language) word describing “to live well”. With this ancestral anchor, Cualnemi Therapy promotes a decolonized and holistic approach to care. It is the essence of the practice— encouraging you to connect wholesomely. As a therapist, I am trained in a number of styles of therapy and will blend these approaches to encourage your awareness, healing, and growth.
